We are employee owned. And that’s something we all take a lot of pride in.
It means that every member of our team holds a stake in the business and is committed to ensuring our practice is beyond the ordinary.
It gives every team member the opportunity to influence the decisions we make for the future of our practice. Our people will help shape our employee benefits scheme, influence how we re-invest our profits and even choose the colour of our uniforms.
So many practices are being taken over by large corporations. We receive plenty of interest, but Caroline, Matthew and Andy want to stay true to our people and our values. Being employee-owned guarantees this remains the case, and safeguards our fundamental core values: compassion, team focused and continually improving everything we do. What’s more, we’ve founded the British Veterinary Employee Owned Association to empower more practices to follow our lead.
Pennard Vets is 125 years old, and by operating in this way, we’ll continue to thrive for the next 125 years, and beyond.
