Beyond the ordinary

Are you a passionate professional who loves making a positive impact? We’re looking for a Practice Manager who’s all about delivering top-notch client service and creating a supportive, welcoming environment for both our team and clients.

In this role, your fantastic listening and communication skills will help you build strong, meaningful relationships with your team and the public. You’ll be a natural problem solver who can adapt to new situations and mentor others to ensure we provide the best care possible for our patients, clients, and each other.

You’ll also be responsible for providing training and development opportunities, ensuring your team has the skills and knowledge they need to shine.

If you have experience in the veterinary industry (or something similar) and a knack for critical thinking, we’d love to meet you! Your leadership skills, attention to detail, and ability to juggle multiple priorities will play a key role in our success.

What You’ll Do:

  • Keep Things Running Smoothly: Oversee the daily operations of our practice, manage the Client Care Team, and work with HR to meet day-to-day needs.
  • Lead the Client Care Team: Support and manage our amazing client care and support staff across our three Maidstone locations.
  • Help Grow Our Team: Participate in the recruitment of new team members for our client care, support, and clinical teams.
  • Set the Standard: Develop and implement local policies that boost efficiency and ensure we’re always compliant with industry standards.
  • Foster Teamwork: Work closely with teams across the group to support patient care and create a positive work environment.
  • Manage the Budget: Oversee the practice’s budget, monitor expenses, and work with our debt champions to manage financials effectively.
  • Keep Us Stocked and Ready: Coordinate the procurement of supplies, manage inventory, and ensure all equipment is in top condition.
  • Prioritise Safety: Implement health and safety protocols to keep our workplace safe for everyone.
  • Enhance Client Relations: Handle client concerns with care, aiming for quick and satisfying resolutions.
  • Analyse and Grow: Look at operational data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Support Our Presence: Work with the marketing team on strategies to attract new clients and retain our wonderful existing ones.
  • Keep Us Looking Good: Ensure our practice is always clean, safe, and professional, especially in our reception areas.
  • Financial Management: Collaborate with the finance team and Practice Principals to create and maintain budgets that align with our goals and needs.

Position Details:

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Based at our Maidstone Clinic
  • Salary: £35,000 – £38,000, depending on experience

If you’re ready to make a difference and lead a fantastic team, we’d love to hear from you!
